KASHMIR

Since Kashmir's independence from the British in 1947, they have been caught between the subsequent wars between India and Pakistan who both want to control over Kashmir, a country which beautiful lakes, mountains and which houses many boats on the lakes.  Its natural beauty has been a backdrop for many Bollywood movies.  The people of Kashmir feel trapped in their own country and just want their own independence. Upon my journey in Kashmir i spent time with a family and   documented many locals in their natural habitat.
